About the practice

Medicine with time, attention, and a reason for everything we do.

Dynamis was built to practice medicine the way it should be — unhurried, personal, and focused on the root cause rather than the prescription pad.

Your practitioner

Mark Brody, CCH

Mark Brody is a physician whose path runs from conventional medicine into the heart of integrative and preventive care. Trained at Harvard College and the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, with a background in psychiatry and psychoanalysis, he later devoted himself to homeopathy, Bowenwork, and functional medicine.

That combination is unusual, and it is the point. It means your care can draw on rigorous medical training and the gentler, root-cause tools of natural medicine — whichever will genuinely help you most.

A note on how Mark works: lifestyle factors first — diet, exercise, toxin avoidance, detoxification, EMF remediation, and supportive practices like yoga and meditation — with pharmaceuticals, lab tests, and imaging used sparingly and only when medically necessary.

Understanding the approach

What integrative & preventive medicine really mean

What is Integrative Medicine?

Integrative medicine is an emerging healing practice that combines the best of a variety of healing traditions without limiting itself to any single one. It may draw on nutrition, functional medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, acupuncture, homeopathy, herbalism, bodywork, and energy healing.

At Dynamis, that specifically means homeopathic medicine, herbal medicine, nutrition, functional medicine, Bowenwork, and conventional medical treatment when it is the right choice.

What is Preventive Medicine?

Preventive medicine aims not only to prevent disease but to look for the root causes of illness and remove the factors that set it in motion.

It emphasizes lifestyle change over reliance on pharmaceuticals, and it takes seriously the real harm that medications can cause when they are overused.

Does Dynamis provide primary care?

Not exactly. Dynamis is not a primary-care practice, though it offers many overlapping services. The difference is emphasis and time.

Care centers on lifestyle — diet, exercise, toxin avoidance, detoxification, EMF remediation, supplements, and supportive practices — and appointments typically run 45 minutes rather than the 10–20 minutes common in conventional primary care.

Why membership instead of insurance?

A membership model gives you more time with your doctor and easier access to care.

Just as importantly, it creates the right incentive: the practice is rewarded for keeping you healthy, not for scheduling more visits.

Better together

A network of affiliated practitioners

When your care calls for it, Dynamis works alongside a trusted circle of holistic practitioners — so you have a full team, not just one office.
